I love watching “Charlie Brown Christmas.” Charlie Brown was becoming very frustrated in preparing for Christmas. He thought putting on a play. He was trying to find the perfect tree. But he picked this very “pitiful” looking tree. Charlie Brown in desperation yells “Isn’t there anyone that knows what Christmas is all about?” Linus tells him that he could tell him what Christmas is all about. Linus began to recite Luke 2:8-14.
Luke 2:8-14 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Yes, Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The birth of Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of a promise that the Lord had made to us. He said that he was going to provide a way for us to be reconciled with him.
As you celebrate Christmas, remember that Jesus Christ has made some promises to you. You may be believing for a healing, a family member to be saved or a marriage to be healed. The Lord has promised healing, salvation and restoration. Trust Him to bring it to pass. Just as the passage in look said, it will probably be a SUDDENLY!!
